Competitive Priorities

Competitive priorities are top dimensions that a company must realize to satisfy internal and external customers. In our company, all four priorities are considered important and all work with each other. If one is changed, it affects the other three.

Top Priorities:

1) Consistent Quality: The "quality" priority is the most important because T&L Catering deals with food. It's a product that is directly consumed by the their clients. Clients have high expectations and if they are not met, they let the company know. Consistent quality will maintain the good quality of food and at the same time lower the cost to some extent compared to the companies which set the top quality as their top priority. Consistent quality will promote T&L Catering among customers mouth to mouth, resulting in great reputation.

2) Customization: T&L Catering has different price level, decoration and menu for different themes, including wedding, banquet  corporate catering, off premise, BBQ, and gifts basket&trays, which decided by the customers. Based on what customers request, the company also makes changes to decorations and foods. In different price level, there will be different food and beverage menu, and decoration choices, which customers can choose on affordable level. T&L Catering also has flexible staff who can make, transport and serve the food to its clients.

3) On-time Delivery: When dealing with food, everything has to be done on a timely manner; food has to be prepared a day before to eliminate the risk of running late with hot food, which can also influence delivery time. Besides preparing food on time, the food has to arrive the location and be    served on time as requested by clients. To increase the percent of customer orders shipped when promised, T&L Catering will use appointment, scheduling and capacity planning to make sure the on-time delivery reaches 95% goal.

Low Priority:

4) Low-cost Operation: To maximize profit, T&L Catering has found many ways to reduce cost. However, the company maintains  the quality and time before considering ways to reduce cost. For example, the company has used low cost equipment to produce the same quality product. And also the company designed and operated the most efficient working process to lower the cost, at the same time guarantee the consistent quality.
